Some Case Central® settings need to be set up initially and then require generally infrequent updating. These setup tasks include the definition and creation of the system's Categorization, Investigation Checklists, Resolution States, Thresholds, and User Defined Fields.
These underlying components of the system are somewhat unique to each organization. Case Central provides some default values but puts the power of customization in the hands of the administrative user. The values and configurations entered are used across all dispute management functions executed within Case Central, including opening a new case, managing case work and assignments on a timely basis, conducting investigations following approved processes, and ultimately resolving cases.
Also under , Case Central supports certain customized configuration of Styles. A specific color scheme may be created to match the organization's own branding. Theme colors could also be used to distinguish each implemented environment - Development, Testing, and Production - from the others, quickly and easily to eliminate potential confusion.
